I am 40 years old. I was born in Chicago, Illinois to Greek Immigrants. I moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma at age 5. I attended public school until 5th grade then Catholic school through high school. I obtained a B.S. in Biochemistry from Marquette University in 1992, my medical degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1996, and completed my medical residency in Ears, Nose, & Throat at the University of Oklahoma in 2001. I worked in my parent's restaurant growing up as well as ran a lawn care service with my brother. I have worked construction on a highway project, in accounting at American Airlines, and waiting tables in school. I met my wife Lisa at Marquette University and we married in 1995. She is the rock of the family. Her calming influence and nurturing personality is spiritual food for our entire family. We have 5 wonderful daughters ages 14, 12, 9, 7, and 1. I currently live and practice in Wisconsin
I am committed to take this cause to the American people. I have filed my papers with the Federal Election Commission. I filed as a Republican candidate since the Democratic nomination is a given with president Obama. I believe in the principals of the Tea Party, but I am concerned about the ability to organize effectively nation wide. I am hoping this is a true grass roots effort to send a message to Washington that THIS IS OUR COUNTRY! If we really want change, we need to change the establishment, not just talk more rhetoric. I believe a grass roots movement allows for unbiased governing free of lobbyist influence. I plan on initiating my contact with the people of Iowa over the 4th of July festivities. From there I hope to be a part of the Iowa caucus and proceed based on the voice of the American people.
